ABOUT ME
I’m a cinematographer who found my way into the craft by being on set and figuring things out in real time. I didn’t come up through a traditional, theory-heavy route. Instead, I learned the craft by doing, experimenting, and understanding how light, movement, and people come together to create something meaningful.
Over time, that hands-on approach has shaped how I see and shoot. I’ve worked across music videos, branded content, and narrative projects, and I’m always drawn to the feeling of a piece, especially how atmosphere can carry a story just as much as the story itself. I care a lot about building visuals that feel intentional and have a strong identity, not just something that looks good in isolation.
My work naturally leans toward mood and metaphor. I tend to focus on texture, contrast, and rhythm to bring out emotion, and I like letting those elements guide how a scene unfolds. Whether I’m working with a fully controlled setup or adapting to a real-world location, I’m always thinking about how everything fits together into a cohesive visual language.
I also value preparation, as it gives me a strong base to work from, but I do also make sure that it doesn't limit the process. Some of the best moments happen when there’s room to respond, adjust, and discover something unexpected on set.
I’m constantly looking to refine my craft and push my work further. For me, cinematography isn’t just about supporting a story. It’s about elevating it, making sure every visual decision contributes meaningfully to the overall experience, while being honest to each frame.
